Malinga Productions was offically established in 2009 and is directed by Sinini and Pamela Ngwenya.

Pamela has a background in academia (social and environmental sciences) and community work. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Development Studies, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and holds a doctorate in Geography from The University of Oxford (Centre for the Environment).

Sinini is a professional musician, performer and composer. He has three albums available through Malinga Recordings, is lead vocalist of Tanga Pasi and also has a background in community and youth work.
